Costs

A first appointment with a counsellor costs £40 and we ask for payment for this before the meeting because this helps us ensure that the appointment is not wasted.

Our aim is to provide a service to the local community regardless of ability to pay the full cost of counselling. We have a small bursary, provided by the Government, to help us subsidise the counselling if clients are in financial crisis. We also have some funding from Southend Council to provide counselling at a reduced rate for the residents of Southend on Sea.

If you are unable to pay £40 per session please talk with the counsellor and ask about the bursary scheme.
